FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is QRtoad free?

Yes. You can design and download QR codes for free, with no account required. A Pro plan adds dynamic QR codes, bulk generation, API access, larger exports, and removes the short download wait.

Do the QR codes expire?

Static QR codes never expire — the data is encoded directly in the image, so it works forever. Dynamic QR codes (Pro) keep the same printed image while letting you change where they point at any time.

Can I add my logo to a QR code?

Yes. Drop in a logo (PNG, JPEG, WebP, or SVG) and size it to taste. Large images are resized automatically, and the live scannability check makes sure the code still reads with the logo in place.

Will a styled QR code still scan?

That's the whole point of QRtoad. Every change is checked by actually decoding the rendered code, and you get a clear warning before you export anything that might not scan reliably.

Can I export as SVG and PNG?

Yes. Export a crisp vector SVG (infinitely scalable, smallest file) or a high-resolution PNG at the size you choose — both straight from the editor.

Can I generate QR codes in bulk?

Yes. Switch the editor to Bulk mode, paste a list or upload a CSV, and download every code as a ZIP — all sharing your live design. Free accounts can do a small batch; Pro unlocks up to 500 per batch.
